In order to protect normal production, improve the quality of stamped parts, reduce costs, and extend the lifespan of the die, it is necessary to correctly use and reasonably maintain the mold. Strictly implement the "three inspections" system for the die (inspection before use, inspection during use, and inspection after use), and carry out proper maintenance and repair work for the die.
Its main tasks include the correct installation and debugging of molds; strictly controlling the depth of the male die entering the female die; controlling the lower stop point extension of the upper die in processes such as bending correction, cold extrusion, and shaping; timely regrinding and polishing the cutting edge of the tool; paying attention to maintaining the cleanliness and proper lubrication of the tool, etc. The male die cutting edge is trimmed to form a bevel or curved shape. This is an effective method to reduce the cutting force. Reducing the cutting force can alleviate the tensile force on the material on the female die side, thereby achieving the effect of suppressing the flipping and twisting of the stamped parts.
The correct use and reasonable maintenance of molds are crucial for extending their lifespan.
